Theoretical Weight Table Of Specifications Of Plug-in Steel Grating

Oct 28, 2021

The plug-in steel grating is made of load-bearing (warp) flat steel and (weft) flat steel through openings and cross welded edges. Common welding types are divided into two welding methods, butt insertion and half insertion. So how to choose a suitable plug-in steel grating also needs to be selected according to the load capacity of different sites. For example, it is recommended to use plug-in steel grating when ordinary pole-welded steel grating cannot meet the actual site's load-bearing capacity.

1. Specification and model of plug-in steel grating
Conventional welding type: butt plug type, half plug type, sunshade type:
Commonly used flat steel materials: Q235 carbon steel, serrated, I type, stainless steel (201, 304, 316), aluminum alloy, etc;
Commonly used flat steel specifications: 303, 305, 323, 325, 403, 404, 405, 505, etc. (unit mm);
Common hole pitch specifications: 30/30, 40/40, 50/50, 30/100, 40/100, 50/100, etc. (unit: mm);
Common surface treatment: hot-dip galvanizing, cold galvanizing (electro-galvanizing), painting, dipping, no treatment, etc.;

2. Type of plug-in steel grating
The mating type means that all the flat steel openings are inserted into each other, and the opening size is one-half of the width of the flat steel.
The half-insertion type refers to the opening of the load flat steel, the horizontal bar flat steel is directly inserted into it, and the width of the inserted flat steel is less than one-half of the width of the load flat steel.
The sunshade type refers to the butt-insertion welding of the load-bearing flat steel with a 30-degree or 45-degree chute.
