Available in smooth or serrated surface galvanized steel stair treads depending on application requirements, serrated surface stair treads provide good protection against slipping in areas prone to oil stains or other hazards. The general construction of stair treads is the same as other bar grilles, but it adds reinforcement and additional safety adjustments for stair applications. Trimming is the channel or angle of material attached to the leading edge of a stair tread to improve edge visibility and slip resistance. Can be used on smooth surfaces.
