Steel stair steps, also called steel stair treads or metal stair steps, are deep-processed products made of steel gratings, anti-skid strips, and side panels. It is mainly used for stepping on steel ladders, so it is usually called stair treads, or ladder pedals. The steel stair treads are accessible in many types of metal gratings. We can design and manufacture standard steel stair steps in customized shapes per client's requirements.
Steel stair steps need to be manufactured in various sizes to match the corresponding stairs, but from the perspective of economy and safety, we recommend that you adopt the following specifications:
* T325/30/100 (applicable to stair treads whose width is greater than 215mm and not greater than 305mm)
* T255/30/100 ((Suitable for stair treads with a width greater than 215mm and not greater than 305mm)
* Bearing Bar Specifications (mm):
The specification of plain type and serrated type bearing bar is 20 x 3 to 100 x 10;
The specification of I-section type bearing bar is 25 x 5 x 3, 32 x 5 x 3, 38 x 5 x 3, 40 x 5 x 3, 50 x 5 x 3, 50 x 7 x 4, 55 x 7 x 4, 60 x 7 x 4, 65 x 7 x 4, 70 x 7 x 4, 75 x 7 x 4, etc.
* Bearing Bar Pitch (Center-to-Center):
12.5, 15, 25, 30, 30.16, 32.5, 34, 40, 41.25, 45, 50, 60, 60.32, 80, and 100 mm, etc. Also, be according to the client's requirement, and 30, 40, and 60mm are recommended;
America standard is available 1'' x 3/16'', 1 1/4'' x 3/16'', 1-1/2'' x 3/16'', 1'' x 1/4'', 1-1/4'' x 1/4'', 1 1/2'' x 1/4''(19-w-4), and so on.
* Cross Bar Pitch (Center-to-Center):
38.1, 40, 50, 60, 76, 80, 90, 100, 101.6, 102, 135mm, and so on.
* Material:
Mild Steel (Low Carbon Steel) or Stainless Steel
* Surface Treatment:
Untreated, Painting or Hot DIP Galvanizing

Main Types
Generally, steel stair steps can be divided into T1-type stair treads, T2-type stair treads, T3-type stair treads, and T4-type stair treads. The main basis is the front guard plate and the perforated side plate, which can also be determined according to the customer's requirements. As shown below:
